Review: Great, practical advice
For the college student, recent grad, or working individual who simply wants some sound financial advice, this book is worthwhile. It shares practical, easy-to-read information on financial basics. The author also provides plenty of real life examples to relate to and apply (while sharing a few laughs along the way to lighten the sometimes technical-loaded jargon that goes with finance talk: i.e. referencing an earlier period of time as "BE" - before excel, etc.). The intro mentions the desire to present the material as a "conversation," and the book carries that same tone. A must read for anyone who wants to build a financial foundation on proper budgeting, borrowing, saving, and facing the unexpected (i.e. "Life Happens").
